[NDS] Soma Bringer - Nintendo (Fantasy, Action, Adventure, RPG) Currently playing this translated game. I’m at the third chapter currently and so far, I’m pretty neutral about it. It’s an action rpg and unlike other games you can mod your character a bit. The story however does not exactly revolve around the character you make which was a little sad for me. the story is set in a fantasy world where a magical energy source called soma is used to power technology and affects all living things on the planet. In recent years, the natural balance of Soma has been disrupted by the arrival of mysterious beings called Visitors. In the game you are a part of a team that is investigating these occurences. I don’t think this game is anything extraordinary but it has an easy-to-follow story and also easy to play. You are real time fighting in a group of 3 and you have the ability to set up shortcut key combos which reminds me of arcade fighting games. there is a lot of dungeon crawling and I feel leveling up can be slow. I wish there were more information about skills, combos and classes because I’m not quite sure I’m building my character right.
